As an artist, I am always drawn to the beauty of the natural world and how it can evoke a wide range of emotions in those who experience it. In my latest piece, "Lonely Church," I sought to capture the haunting beauty of an abandoned church in southern New Mexico. The desolate landscape, with its rugged terrain and barren hills, is juxtaposed against a steel gray sky, creating an atmosphere of isolation. As I stood before the lonely church, I felt compelled to create stories about the practitioners who once frequented this now-abandoned place of worship. Who were they, and what led them to this isolated corner of the world? What were their hopes and fears, and what drove them to seek solace in this desolate landscape? These are the questions that inspired me to create "Lonely Church," and I hope that my work will inspire others to explore the beauty and mystery of the natural world as well.
